Andy Palacio Has Passed Away

Andy Palacio's fans were deeply saddened this week when word came out that he was extremely ill, having suffered a heart attack, a stroke and multiple seizures. I'm sad to report that his record label has confirmed that Andy died on January 18. He had been in a hospital in Mobile, but was flown home to Belize so he could die in the land of his ancestors. He was 47 years old.

Andy, you will be missed. Andy not only performed at our family reunion, but he took time out to hang out and break bread with us during his stay in Punta Gorda, Roatan. My condolences go out the family and friends of Mr. Palacio.
