Globalquerque! Rocks the Southwest This Weekend

Globalquerque!, one of my favorite music festivals that I've never been to, is set to rock Albuquerque, NM this weekend. With a stellar lineup (true to form for these excellent organizers) and completely affordable tickets (a 2-day pass is cheaper than your average arena rock concert), it's a must-see for New Mexicans and those who are into last-minute road-tripping. Highlights of the lineup include Iraq's Rahim AlHaj, Haiti's Emeline Michel, and Peru's Susana Baca, as well as one of my very favorite Americana groups, The Flatlanders.
