Family friendly festivals

Look at websites and see what they have for children. Many of our events have separate areas, safely stewarded, packed with entertainment, circus,exciting acts, crafts activities, parades, dressing up, hands on fun and lots more. You can get a feel for it by looking at pictures of previous events. Spend plenty of time occupying the children and have a great time with them.

Caution
- The first piece of advice, should have been "Don't do it." Things to consider: 1. There can be too much sun, and the music can be way too loud. As an adult you can judge that for yourself, but can your child tell you that? Sun screen and hearing protection are a must! 2. Also remember that while you may enjoy the music most likely your child will be bored after about 15 minutes, if that long. How are you really going to keep them entertained for the entire day? 3. Some festivals, like the Austin City Limits Festival provide an area for kids, but which of you parents/guardians is going to stay with the kid(s) while the other is listening to the music? My advice; Leave the children with Grandparents or friends and enjoy the festival on you own.
