From the article: Top Ten Covers of Bob Marley Songs...
Bob Marley was one of the most talented and prolific songwriters of all time, so it's no wonder that his songs have been covered by hundreds upon hundreds of other artists from all genres. Which of these covers of Bob Marley songs is your favorite? Who performed it and what do you love about it? What's Your Favorite?
Is This Love
- Corinne Bailey Rae hands down my favorite Marley cover. It respects the original while adding a beautiful new voice and perspective to Bobs lyrics.

Guava Jelly/This Train cover by Sublime.
- This is a great cover of one of my favorite Bob Marley songs. You can find it on the album 'Sublime Acoustic-Bradley Nowell and Friends. They also cover Jailhouse by Bob Marley, and a great cover of 54-46 by Toots and the Maytals, as well as other classic covers and punk/raggae/ska songs and covers.

Bilal Oliver
- Bilal Oliver, a Grammy-nominated soul singer, collaborated with composer Miguel Atwood-Ferguson to cover "Is This Love". It's a beautifully shot video and the music is just fantastic. Check it out here: http://music.vtechphones.com/2010/09/vtech-exclusive-bilals-new-video-is-this-love/

I can see this answer clearly
- Soul Asylum, Prom Night at Fargo, ND High School, "I Can See Clearly Now." **Note from Megan Romer, World Music Guide: That's a great non-reggae cover of a reggae song, for sure, but actually, Bob Marley never recorded "I Can See Clearly Now." The original hit song was recorded by Johnny Nash, and Jimmy Cliff recorded a cover in 1993, for the movie 'Cool Runnings.'**

Favorite Marley Cover
- Annie Lennoxs' version of "Waiting In Vain" from her Medussa recording is my personal favorite. I have been listening to Bob Marley and reggae music since 1972 when I visited Jamaica for the first time. Maybe because I tear up when ever I listen to the song. Maybe because of the passion Annie brings to the song. Check it out.

- Hey Megan (and everyone else)! I have been collecting Bob Marley covers for a long time now and have nearly 200 from all over the world. Some of the best are appearing on a forthcoming Bob Marley tribute album that will be released by Putumayo later this year, so keep your eyes (and ears) peeled! Its going to be a great album with a number of tracks recorded specifically for the collection.
